If your player needs equipment which
would otherwise be a financial burden to acquire, we encourage you to
come out to the park and see what equipment is available FREE OF CHARGE.
For those with children which might
have outgrown their gear, or who no longer play, we would also encourage
you to generously donate any used gear you may have.
We are looking for a wide variety of gear such as:
- Bats
- Helmets
- Gloves
- Cleats
- Chest Protectors
- Pants in good repair
We also have another opportunity to
make a difference in more than just our community. Any equipment which
has not been distributed at the end of Equipment Day will be packed and
shipped to a specific charity who distributes donated equipment to
communities and organizations in need. We will also be collecting cash
donations to help offset the shipping costs of left over equipment.
For
those who wish to donate equipment, we will be at the park Friday,
August 7th at 6:30pm collecting equipment and preparing for Saturday.
Additionally, if you have a little spare time, we would welcome any help
in setup. We have collected quite a bit of equipment in the second
floor of the concession stand and it will all be put out for donation.
