Volunteer Needed: A Jaguar Field Lining Coordinator is needed for the spring season.

Field lining goes towards earning the hours needed to receive back your work bond.

Fall 2011 Game Recaps

9/10-9/11 - The Bridgewater Kick-Off Classic was cancelled due to flooding.

9/18 - The Jaguars welcomed the Millburn Blaze to Middlebush park for their opening game of the Fall 2011 season. It was the Jaguars first full sided game and the team, with six new members, were evenly matched against the Blaze. The Jaguars were able to score the only goal of the game in the second half for a 1-0 win. Great game Jaguars!

9/25 - The Jaguars traveled to Hunterdon to play the Heat and took on an early lead with a half time score of

3-0. Both teams were able to score in second half with the Jaguars earning the win at 4-1. Good team work Jaguars!

10/2 - The Jaguars hosted the GFSC Raptors at SGS for a nail biter of a game. The Jaguars opened the game with a goal but the big and speedy Raptors were able to answer with four quick goals. The Jaguars were able to score one more goal before half time to trail 2 to 4. The Jaguars slowly chipped away at the deficit and kept up the pressure until they ended the game with a 6-4 win. Exciting game Jaguars!

10/9 - The Jaguars traveled to Readington to play the Rage. The Jaguars scored an early goal then followed up with a break away goal for a 2-0 lead at the half. The Jaguars scored another break away goal to bring their lead up to 3 but the Rage were able to score on a penalty kick for a final score of 3-1. Nice game Jaguars!

10/16 - The Jaguars competed against the Glen Ridge United at Middlebush Park. The United were able to score the only goal late in the first half on a penalty kick but the Jaguars were able to step up the offense in the second half to tie the game. The Jaguars goalkeeper was able to make a beautiful save late in the second half to keep the game tied at 1-1. Nice job Jaguars!

10/23 - The Jaguars traveled to Millburn and opened up with two quick goals against the Blaze. With one additional goal, the Jaguars ended the half with a 3 to 0 lead. Although the Jaguars spent most of the second half in Blaze territory, they were unable to increase their lead and ended with a 3-0 win. Great team work Jaguars!

10/30 - The Jaguars home game against the the Hunterdon United Heat was postponed do to SNOW!

11/6 - The Jaguars traveled to Flemington to play another close and exciting game against the big and physical GFSC Raptors. After a 0-0 first half, the Jaguars were able to score midway through the second half. With only three minutes left, the Jaguars were able land another goal, only to be ruled offsides. The Raptors were able to follow up with a quick goal and with only one minute remaining the Jaguars were able to break the tie with a great pass to center and which lead to a shot over the goalie for a 2-1 win. Amazing team work Jaguars!

11/12 - The Jaguars took on the Hunterdon United Heat in a makeup game at Middlebush Park. With a few players unavailable for the Saturday game, it took the Jaguars a little time to get used to some lineup changes but the Jaguars were able to take the lead by half time with a late first half goal. The Jaguars were able to increase their lead by two more goals in the second half for a 3-0 win. Nice game Jaguars!

11/13 - The Jaguars faced the Readington Rage at Middlebush Park and were able to take the lead at the half 1 to 0. The Jaguars were able to score 3 more goals in the second half for a 4-0 win. Way to go Jaguars!

11/20 - The Jaguars traveled to Glen Ridge to play against the United. The team finished off with a solid performance against the United scoring one goal in both the first and second halfs for a 2-0 win. Great season, Jaguars!!!!
