-The Ravens will be starting their eight season on
March 14, 2010. The Ravens will continue to play in
division 313G02. The Ravens will face Flemington,
Livingston, Cranford, Tewksbury and Montgomery this
season. We want to wish the Ravens another successful
season.

| 3/14 - Due to the rainout
on March 14, the Ravens will be starting their eight
season on March 21, 2010. The Ravens will play Livingston
at 1pm. Please get to the field at 12:30pm. Wear the
blue jerseys. Go Ravens! |
| 3/21 - The Ravens traveled
to Livingston to play the Lady Legend. After a quick
score the Lady Legend were able to hold off the Ravens
attack by some excellent goal tending by the Livingston
goalie. With another late goal the Lady Legend were
able to seal a 2-0 win. |
| 3/28 - The Ravens hosted
the Celtic from Cranford. Trailing 1-0, the Ravens were
able to score two unanswered goals to come back and
beat the Celtic 2-1. The Ravens hustled the entire game
and great saves by their goalie made this one of their
most exciting game in some time. |
| 4/11 - The Ravens traveled
to Tewksbury to face the Cats. The Ravens were able
to grab a quick 2-0 before the half. The Cats battled
back hard with a goal in the second half and with constant
pressure, they attacked the Ravens' goal the rest of
the way. Luckily, with a couple of awesome saves by
the Ravens' goalie, the Ravens were able to come away
with a 2-1 win. |
| 4/18 - The Ravens hosted
the Wildcats from Montgomery. The Ravens, playing down
a player, as two of their teammates were out and unable
to play, were able to keep the score 0-0 until the end
of the first half. The Ravens were the first to score
in the second half and able to hold on the rest of the
way to win 1-0. |
| 4/25 - The Ravens and Greater
Flemington were rained out. Make up to be determined
at a later date. |
| 5/2 - The Ravens hosted
the Lady Legend from Livingston. They played in pretty
oppressive heat. Ravens were able to keep up with the
first place Legends but the heat did seem to wear down
the girls. They fought through it and were able to keep
the game close. The Legend eventually scored a single
goal and won 1-0. |
| 5/9 - The Ravens traveled
to Cranford to play the Celtic. The Celtic scored three
unanswered goals to defeat the Ravens 3-0. |
| 5/15 - The Ravens traveled
to Flemington to finally play the Red Storm. In a hotly
contested game, the Ravens, without any subs, were able
to score first and continue to apply the pressure. However,
the Red Storm was able to tie the game before the half.
The Ravens came out and scored the first goal in the
second half, to make the score 2-1. With the game heating
up in the last few minutes, a foul was called against
the Ravens in the last 10 seconds of the game.
The Ravens goalie was able to come up with a spectacular
save to seal the Ravens 2-1 win. |
| 5/16 - The Ravens hosted
the Cats from Tewksbury. In a well played game, the
Ravens were able to score two goals in the first half
and play great defense the rest of the way. With the
2-0 win, the Ravens completed a very successful weekend
by winning both their two games . Great Job Ravens! |
| 5/23 - The Ravens traveled
to Montgomery to face the Wldcats. The Ravens
came away with a 2-0 victory. |
| 5/25 - The Ravens hosted
the Red Storm from Flemington. The evenly matched teams
were able to play another close game with the Ravens
coming away with a 3-2 win. This gave the Ravens seven
wins for the Spring. A very successful finish to the
season. Great Job Ravens! |
