rough start gave the United an early lead,
but our girls re-grouped and won the game with
a much better 2nd half performance to get back
on track, with L. Howard scoring both of her
season goals to lead the team...

Liberty: 0 - 1 (0-0 HT)

Another
week of futility up front, this time costs
the Wildcats the game against the
Liberty. A disappointing overall performance
-based on our earlier standards- gives a deserving
victory to our opponents and puts our season
in jeopardy...

@ Branchburg Revolution: 1 - 0 (0-0 HT)
|
The
Wildcats did not have their best game but still
managed to get the W with a hard fought 1-0
victory in Branchburg thanks to B. Davis
who had a great second half and scored the
only goal of the day and the solid defense
and goalie performance for our first shutout
of the regular season...

Wildcats played tough against a very good Hillside
team, in a match that had all the excitement
of a high level game. After coming back from
0-1 down, and taking the lead they saw the
win slip through their fingers in the last
10 seconds (yes, seconds) of the game!!!...

fall asleep early and end-up losing another
tough game to the East Brunswick Mustangs for
their first
loss of the season...

overcome a shaky first half and come back to
win their 3rd of the season against a feisty

a tough Livingston Liberty team at their place
for the first time in 3 tries! ...

look" team, after beating a very good
Branchburg Revolution team under a rather intense
heat and humidity that had our girls scrambling
for the shade and water every chance they got!

narrowly missing 1st place in Flight 3 last season,
the Wildcats will be competing in Flight 2 this
season. The team will have a new look with some
significant changes in its line-up and 2-3 new
players joining the team. |
