About the Franklin  Township Soccer Club

The Franklin Township Soccer Club in Somerset County, New Jersey, offers both Recreational and Travel programs for boys and girls, from pre-K to High School ages, with Fall and Spring seasons.  Formed more than fifteen years ago, the club is an independent, non-profit organization run entirely by parent volunteers.

In 2013 we also introduced our TopSoccer program to help children with disabilities who would like to learn to play soccer.

Indirect support is graciously contributed to the club by the Franklin Township Board of Education and the Franklin Twp Parks and Recreation Department in the form of facilities usage and field maintenance (SGS, FHS and Middlebush Park for game fields and other schools for practice sites), and by the Franklin Township Municipal Government in the form of space provided at the Public Library and Community/Senior Center for registration forms distribution and for field maintenance and facilities usage (township parks for practice sites).

For many years the club was fully dependent on registration fees, concession stand sales, and our parent volunteers for its continued existence. More recently, we have arranged some sponsorship & fundraising deals, in order to improve the program and give our township's stand-out soccer players the opportunity to improve their skills and excel in this wonderful sport, while minimizing the cost to their parents.
