Nippers U-6 Age Division (Ages 4 and 5)

The Nippers program is for Kindergarten and Pre-K (ages 4-6, birth years 2015-2016) children, and serves as the fundamental age where the objective is to learn all elementary movement skills by building overall motor skills.

Nippers meet once per week on Saturdays at Middlebush Park (421 Demott Lane, Somerset, NJ 08873). The sessions will be conducted on field MP-1.

Nippers Parents Information:

1.      First day is April 17, 2021.

2.      Sessions are from 9:00 AM-10:15 AM and 10:45 AM-12:00 PM at Middlebush Park (421 Demott Lane, Somerset, NJ 08873) every Saturday for nine weeks. Families will receive a communication with the group their child is assigned to. Please arrive at the field 15 minutes prior to start to allow for necessary check in procedures

Upon arrival at Middlebush Park, parents are to escort their child to the player check in station for the 3 step check in process. At the check in station FTSC will begin executing our COVID-19 prevention protocol.

Step 1: When you arrive at your first session every parent must submit a Hold Harmless Waiver for each child that is participating in the program. Please print out the form found at the link below and submit the completed form to the volunteer at the check in table.  FTSC will keep these on file for the Spring season, therefore the waiver only needs to be submitted upon your initial arrival.

Step 2: Prior to attending each session on Saturday morning, a parent must complete a health questionnaire for their child. If you have multiple children participating, each child must have a questionnaire completed.

The link to the daily health questionnaire is below:

When filling out the form select NIPPERS for question 3 and RECREATION for question 4

Upon successful completion of the questionnaire you will receive a clearance image (see below). This image MUST be shown to the volunteer at the check in station. If the clearance image is not presented, you will be asked to re-submit a questionnaire and present the clearance image to the volunteer.

Step 3: Each player will have their temperature checked by a volunteer at the check in table. The temperature check is a non-contact check where we verify each child has a temperature below 100.3oF prior to admittance to the facility.  Any player with a temperature over 100.3oF will not be allowed onto the field.

Once the check in process has been completed, the players will be escorted to the practice session by a volunteer. At the practice area, players will place their personal belongings (water bottle, mask) in an area designated for them and then proceed to their trainer.
